My love for dogs started from a very young age.
I was born into a life of surrounded by dogs, growing up my parents always had dogs in the family home and my father was a professional Greyhound trainer- one of the first things I learnt to do as a toddler was how to put the dogs leads on!
I was about 9 years old when my parents allowed me to have my very own dog. She was a rescue Greyhound called Mary. Every weekend I would go to the local pet shop & spend all my pocket money on pretty collars and treats for Mary – I absolutely adored her!
When I wasn’t busy with Mary or school, in my spare time I would help my sister at her Greyhound rescue, where I had the opportunity to get very hands-on with lots of different kinds of dogs.
Fast forward to 2025 and I currently own 6 gorgeous rescue Sighthounds and 2 working line German Shepherds who I enjoy competing in Competition Obedience and IGP also know as IPO/shutzhund.
I also enjoy training for Obedience competitions, Flyball, agility, and gun Dog training, and in the past have also done Greyhound showing where I was very successful.
I currently hold the following qualifications:
- Open College Network Diploma In Dog Grooming
- Canine First Aid Instructor
- Level 3 Diploma In Canine Behaviour
- Kennel Club Competition Obedience Judge
n ____ I gained my open college network diploma in dog grooming at Groomarts Academy in Hertfordshire which led me to building my current very bespoke business being formed. I am also fully qualified as a canine first aid instructor and studied for 5 years with The British College Of Canine Studies where I achieved my level 3 diploma in Canine Behaviour. I have also undertaken many of the Kennel Clubs canine behavioural courses and in 2024 I also passed my Kennel Club exam and practical test on becoming a competition Obedience judge.
My entire life is based around dogs and that for me is when I’m at my happiest.
